Elizabeth Heaton brings to College Coach in-depth knowledge of all areas of the admissions process. Ms. Heaton began her admissions career at the University of Pennsylvania where she chaired university selection committees, evaluated potential athletic recruits as one of the school’s athletics liaisons, and oversaw the university’s portfolio of admissions publications. She also served as second chair in the selection committee for the school's flagship interdisciplinary Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology. Prior to joining the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Heaton worked as a public relations professional and served for a decade as a member of the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network. Today at College Coach, Ms. Heaton leads the company’s strategic marketing and public relations efforts, and is responsible for new product development and external partnerships. She also oversees the recruitment of new education team members and manages both the retail sales team and a team of College Coach consultants. Ms. Heaton holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from Cornell University and has been a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counseling and the Pennsylvania Association of College Admissions Counseling. With a background at some of the nation's most selective institutions, Stacy Raddock brings valuable perspective to the College Coach team. A long-time education professional, Ms. Raddock began her admissions career as a senior admissions officer at Columbia University where she guided recruitment, selection, and enrollment of domestic and international MBA students. In addition, she played a significant role on the advising side, working closely with students in the university's student development and activities department. Ms. Raddock also brings extensive knowledge of the independent school perspective, with experience at the elite Dalton School in Manhattan. Today at College Coach, Ms. Raddock leads the admissions education team. In that role, she oversees special projects and curriculum development, new employee hiring and training, and staffing for employer-sponsored services. She also manages a team of consultants. Ms. Raddock has a bachelor of arts degree in history from Brown University, and a master of arts degree in higher education administration from Columbia University's Teachers College. Senior Director, Educational Consulting
Karen Spencer has been involved with admissions and higher education administration for many years. Ms. Spencer began her admissions career while in graduate school at the University of Virginia, where she worked in the Curry School of Education admissions office before moving on to become the Assistant Director of Admission at both Franklin & Marshall College (PA) and Georgetown University (DC). Karen worked extensively with coaches and recruited athletes and coordinated the transfer admission programs at both institutions. She also led the business school admissions committee at Georgetown, while also reading 1500 applications each year. In her role at College Coach, Ms. Spencer is responsible for training new employees, coordinating professional development opportunities, orchestrating divisional meetings, and providing exceptional service to both private and corporate clients. Ms. Spencer holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and a master of arts in educational counseling and higher educational administration from the University of Virginia. Erica Blades brings a lifelong passion for education to College Coach. In her role as Senior Director, Erica connects with families looking for guidance on how to navigate the college admissions process and matches them with a College Coach expert who will help them achieve their goals. Before joining College Coach, Erica graduated cum laude from University of Rhode Island with a dual bachelor of arts in elementary education and psychology. She also earned teaching licenses in the states of Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Erica joined College Coach to help families and students find their way to a better future. To Erica, there’s nothing better than the excitement a family feels after they’ve just received the letter they’ve been waiting for with the response they were hoping for: ACCEPTED.
Director, Client Services
Jamie Diamond knows first-hand what it’s like to navigate the often chaotic and confusing application process, having done so as a first generation college student. After going through her own search, she attended Plymouth State University, graduating with a bachelor of arts in communication and a minor in painting. Jamie joined College Coach because she knows the process can be a pleasant one with the proper preparation and guidance. In her role, Jamie speaks with families to gain useful insight to help match their child with the “best fit” admissions expert. She enjoys hearing parents talk about their kids to learn about their strengths, weaknesses, and achievements, and gets a great deal of satisfaction from helping families through one of the most important decisions of their children’s lives.
