| Q: |
Don’t our employees and their children receive college admissions assistance from their high school guidance counselor?
|
| A: |
In addition to advising high school students, guidance counselors assist with test administration, student discipline, course selection and more! With an average national student to counselor ratio of 500 to 1, it is not possible for even the best guidance counselors to give families all the attention they need. |
| Q: |
We have an Employee Assistance Program relationship. Do they provide educational assistance to our employees?
|
| A: |
A premier EAP may offer generic educational materials/information to employees on particular educational topics. College Coach offers tailored advice from some of the best minds in education - including former admissions and financial aid officers from top colleges. Each one of our clients has an EAP/Resource & Referral. Our customers find that we complement these existing resources extremely well. |
| Q: |
Can you help us understand how College Coach supports our diversity objectives?
|
| A: |
In an increasingly diverse and multi-cultural workplace, there is no greater commonality than the collective issues faced by working parents. College Coach clients have found that the usage of our services spans across an entire organization, reaching employees of all backgrounds, and allowing your corporation to offer a service which provides maximum benefit to all members of the workforce. College Coach appreciates that to effectively advise multi-cultural employees, diversity must be mirrored in our own team. |
| Q: |
Our workforce skews younger. How can we work with College Coach?
|
| A: |
College Coach reaches employees with children of all ages. Two of our most popular topics, “Saving for College” and “Homework and Study Skills,” are offered, most often, to employers who need to reach a younger demographic. |
| Q: |
We have limited people resources. How can I be certain that College Coach will not bog us down?
|
| A: |
It is important to note that we built our company around being able to implement this benefit with larger employers. Our goal has always been to add little/no additional work for human resources. To be specific, College Coach handles all aspects of benefit management to include reservations, outreach, event planning and employee feedback. |
