“I loved working in college admissions, and especially valued my interactions with such creative and capable students. I wished, however, for the opportunity to forge more lasting relationships with the students I encountered. Instead of spending just 30 minutes in an interview or 5 minutes at a college fair, wouldn’t it be wonderful to work with a student over a period of months, or even years? Joining College Coach afforded me that opportunity, and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
- Elyse Krantz, Former Admissions Officer from Barnard College
“My definition of the best job in the world? Helping others realize their dreams, their potential. I entered the field of education hoping to make a positive difference in the lives of those I met. But the longer I worked within the field of admissions, the more of a disconnect I felt between my own set of expectations and that of my job. Admissions, from my vantage point, seemed more about increasing application numbers than fulfilling dreams. At College Coach, though, it’s not about the numbers, it’s about the possibilities. I joined College Coach because I felt it was a place where I could make the positive difference I had always hoped to make. Giving students a great set of options to pursue their dreams? That’s College Coach.”
- Zaragoza Guerra, Former Admissions Officer from MIT and Caltech
